Me, Me, Me, Me, Me

Opposition leader Tzipi Livni is complaining that Israel under Prime Minister Netanyahu is the only country to oppose the '1967 lines' as the starting point for 'negotiations' with the 'Palestinians.' Her solution is to vote for me, me, me, me, me.
"What we saw [after Washington] was that US President [Barack Obama] continued from his meeting with Netanyahu to Western countries, where he also asked for his position to be adopted, a position only opposed by one state," she said.

The Kadima leader was referring to Netanyahu's opposition to Obama's call for negotiations with the Palestinians to based along 1967 lines.

On Friday, Dennis Ross, a senior adviser to Obama on the Middle East, told Jewish newspapers that the president’s call for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations on the basis of the 1967 lines, with agreed land swaps, has been welcomed by European leaders during international meetings surrounding the G8 summit of world powers.
Well given that Israel is the only country being asked to concede something by adopting the '1967 lines,' is it really that surprising that only Israel objects? Just think, if God forbid Livni were in charge, we would have conceded the '1967 lines,' and be negotiating over the Galilee and the Negev already.

And by the way - dear traitorous egomaniac - if you'd stop undercutting Netanyahu at every opportunity to promote your own candidacy, perhaps there would be other countries on our side.

Well, there is at least one other country that opposes adopting the "1967 lines": Canada.

Wasn't Ms Livni minister for foreign affairs? Shouldn't she know these things?

The only person who agrees with her - no surprise - is Israel's octogenarian President Shimon Peres, who doesn't oppose a UN Palestinian statehood vote.

What could go wrong indeed

Don't be too hard on her, she's just trying to raise funding from the not insignificant financial base that helped Obama get elected...

Isn't treason par for the course among leftists nowadays?

Just insane: Obama, spot-on, "panders" to the lowest-common-denominator of the nations that turns out to be, surprise, anti-Zionism, anti-Semitism, and the desire to benefit from Israeli technology while undermining Israel's existence. And Livni attempts to put cellophane around the Presidential droppings. Shouldn't Livni be as friendly to Israel as Canada, the "one state" at the G8 who opposed the 1967 lines declaration? Is it so bad that Israel backs Canada on this?

Lets not forget that Haim Ramon from Kadima was leaked to have tryed to convince Abbas to refuse to negotiate with Netanyahu's government because Kadima would give them more.
Talk about working against the interests of the Israeli public!
